CCP’s team qualify as Advanced Internet Certified Recruiters

2010 saw the launch of the CIPD Irish Recruiters recruitment training courses in association with Irish Times Training. To date many recruiters have availed and successfully passed these training courses. The latest version of the Advanced Certified Internet Recruiter (ACIR) course is available. This is a tough course which will test even the most seasoned recruiter’s knowledge of internet sourcing technologies, tools and techniques. This is a deep dive into the detail of how a variety of search engines work with a special focus on Google and the semantic web. It also explores automation as well as some world class productivity tools and techniques that all recruiters should be aware of. There is a special module on RSS techniques as well as “capturing” and “email scraping”. A subject close to Declan Fitzgerald’s heart is explored towards the end which is the future of search – at which time the class looks at social search and the evolution of social graphs. These are only some of the components – there is much much more! The course takes 7 hours, is full of class based exercises and live discussion with a multi-choice online test at the end. This training will very much open up the door to topics within sourcing which many recruiter’s probably didn’t even know exist.
